A brief interlude!

In between writing, reading, conference calls by video and such, I’m trying to do some painting. I’m managing to do a couple hours a day, but even then I’ve got to start something new. So, I thought I’d try a trial painting of a photo I took on Waikiki beach in late afternoon a couple of years ago of a sailboat illuminated by a beam of light gently sliding through a bank of clouds… anyway, here is the acrylic underpainting so far - then I think I will do a larger landscape one as I think this one is coming along rather nicely 👍

Sailboat will be on lower left silhouetted by light, eventually 🙂 also, I need a title too!!
